France routs Jamaica, with Karim Benzema and Olivier Giroud among the goalscorers. But Mathieu Debuchy had to come off at half time with a leg injury.

USA 2 - Nigeria 1

A forgettable season with Sunderland, Jozy Altidore found the perfect cure as he scores twice to defeat fellow World Cup contestant, Nigeria. Another Premier League performer, Victor Moses grabbing Nigeria's consolation goal.

Argentina  2 - Slovenia 0

Goals from Ricky Alvarez and Lionel Messi gives Argentina the perfect sent-off as they defeated Slovenia. Prior to the game, the Argentine squad unfurl a banner claiming sovereignty over the Falkland Islands.

Belgium 1 - Tunisia 0; Cameroon 1 - Moldova 0

A late goal from Dries Mertens (H/T to Dry-macarony for the correction) gave Belgium the win, but Romelu Lukaku suffered an ankle injury. Cameroon also won their penultimate friendly by a single goal.

Meanwhile, Cameroon's head coach denied that his side will pull out of the tournament because of a row over bonus payments. Rumors has it that Cameroon players refused to board the plane to Brazil, but they will do so on Sunday.

Iran 2 - Trinidad & Tobago 0

Iran completed their preparation with a win over Trinidad and Tobago. Charlton Athletic striker, Reza Ghoochhannejhad is on the scoresheet.

Schneiderlin shocked at call up

Morgan Schneiderlin recalled the hours before Didier Deschamps confirmed that he's in the France squad is "not the easiest night I ever had". Schneiderlin and Remy Cabella is the two players drafted by Deschamps to replace Franck Ribery and Clement Grenier.

Minda added to Ecuador's squad

Another one to add to MLS list of representatives in Brazil, after Oswaldo Minda of Chivas USA was called to replace the injured Segundo Castillo.

Echiejile out; Uzoenyi in

Nigeria defender Elderson Echiejile suffered a muscle injury after Nigeria's draw against Greecehe's been replaced by Ejike Uzoenyi.

Reus out with ankle injury

Marco Reus had to miss out on the World Cup after suffering a partial ligament tear in his ankle. Sampdoria's Shkodran Mustafi has been called as his replacement.
