Despite England's early exit from the World Cupthere is no plan to replace Roy Hodgson, insist The FA Chairman Greg Dyke.

Former England manager, Sven-Goran Eriksson however, claimed that "If he (Hodgson) were foreign, he would be sacked".

Gerrard won't rush decision; asked to play on by Hodgson

With his England future up in the air, Gerrard won't rush into making a decision:

I’m still hurting. I’m broken from what’s gone on over the last couple of weeks and I need to get away on holiday and clear my head before I make that decision.

He also added that he's been asked to continue his England career by the gaffer:

"The manager has asked me to stay. I spoke to him and said I'd need at least three weeks to clear my head."

Rooney sees bright England future

Wayne Rooney insist that England can be successful in the future and that he'll be a part of it:

"We want to make history and make this country winners again,"

"That is what we worked hard to do, but it didn't happen. You never know - in the next few years it could do."

Changes abound vs Costa Rica

Frank Lampard will captain the side, with what could be his final England game as well.
