Bayern and United share the spoils

Manchester United put a spirited display to hold defending champion Bayern Munich to a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford. Bastian Schweinsteiger was sent-off for the visiting side.

All square in Spain

Barcelona was held to a 1-1 draw by Atletico Madrid at the Nou Camp. Diego opened the scoring for the visitors with a wonderful goal, before Neymar save Barca's blushes with a goal 15 minutes later.

Pique out for 4 weeks

Gerrard Pique will miss up to 4 weeks with a hip fracture, sustained during the match against Atletico Madrid. Diego Costa was also taken off during the game with a possible hamstring injury.

The official World Cup sticker album for The Three Lions has been released but if you're a Hammers fan or Saints fan, prepare to be disappointed as Andy Carroll and Luke Shaw is not included in the set. Rumors of Roy Hodgson picking his squad based on the sticker albums has been denied.

No re-vote for FIFA's Qatar decision

FIFA's Medical chief, Michel D'Hooghe, believes that there will be no re-vote regarding Qatar's bid to host the World Cup in 2022. He also insists that the tournament could not be played between June to August, due to the heat.
