Townsend aim for a bounce back World Cup

Tottenham winger, Andros Townsend is seeking to rediscover his form in Brazil this summer. The 22-year old England career was off to a great start as he played a key role against Poland and Montenegro. But, an injury in December has hit his form since.

Ronaldo seek to crown career with World Cup trophy

The 29-year old who has won more than a handful of trophies during his career, said that a World Cup trophy "would crown a  great career", and believes that it is possible with hard work. Ronaldo is currently recovering from a knee and thigh injury, which have put his participation against Bayern in the first leg of Champions League semifinal in doubt.

Neymar and Alba out for a month

Neymar will probably miss the rest of the season with a metatarsal injury, sustained during Barçelona's Copa del Rey final defeat against Real Madrid.Teammate Jordi Alba will also be out for approximately a month after suffering from a muscle tear in his right leg in the same match.

Luis praised Brazil's depth

Filipe Luis believes that Brazil's squad is the hardest to get into, due to the abundance of quality players in each position. The 28-year old fullback has been a regular for Diego Simeone in Atlético Madrid, but is currently not in Brazil's squad.

Pekerman refuse to speculate on Falcao's return

Colombia coach, Jose Pekerman will not be drawn into speculation regarding star striker Falcao's recovery from knee injury. Falcao sustained his injury back in January while playing for Monaco.

Cabaye not fussed with lack of playing time

Yohan Cabaye is not troubled by his lack of playing time with PSG, whom he joined from Newcastle United back in January. The France international also added that national team coach Didier Deschamps is probably "rather happy that I don't play every game".
