It's not exactly the most exciting news, and things are a little slow for the National Team at the moment. However England have lined up a game against Peru in late May, which will be their final World-Cup warm-up game at Wembley.
The Football Association have yet to announce the fixture, but sources at the BBC have confirmed Peru are the team who will see England off.
Hodgson will name his 30 man provisional squad before the game against Peru, and it may be the final chance many players have to impress the manager before the final squad selection.
England were set to face the USA at their World-Cup training base in Miami, however after being drawn against Italy, Costa Rica and Uruguay, plans have been ammended with England now facing three Latin American teams in the build up.
The Three Lions will follow up their game against Peru, with games against Honduras and Ecuador in June before facing off with Italy in their opening game of the 2014 World Cup. It seems as though the Three Lions will leave these shores on the back of a game against South American outfit Peru
