Pantilimon started for Manchester City once again this evening, meaning Joe Hart has been riding the bench for the three games in a row. This may be one of the toughest periods of the young keepers life, but he has received a positive message from an unlikely source:
"Joe Hart is a great 'keeper.
"It's very complicated to play at the top level and never to make mistakes.
"I am sure he will work very hard to go back into the first 11 and sooner or later he will make it."
Joe Hart has experienced a very tough start to his 2013 season, not exactly what you want in a World Cup year, however keepers make mistakes. That's part of the game and the best keepers in the world make mistakes, but Joe Hart needs to respond. He'll get his chance again and he needs to prove that his early season form is a blip and not his career projection from here on out.
